SI-2512 ´´Mary Ann´´ Laboratory SifterThe 'Mary Ann' is the most frequently specified sieve machine in the U.S.A. It closely replicates hand sieving, is quiet in operation, reduces sieve wear, eliminates inconvenient clamping and produces results rapidly.An unclamped stack of sieves and pan are laid on a pair of 45° inclined rubber-covered power-driven rollers which revolve the stack; the pan bottom rests on a free-wheeling turntable. The specimen is tumbled, mixed and passed as it is carried up on the revolving inclined screen wire; each particle is provided with maximum opportunities and orientations to find its way through the mesh. To encourage clearing the openings, the sieve frames are tapped laterally (from below) by hardwood faced aluminum hammers. These cam-cocked and spring thrown hammers are pivoted on nylon sleeve bearing.SI-2512A accepts up to 9- 8 in. Full height sieves and cover.

Horizontal rails provide storage for 8 additional sieves. A lid suppresses sound.
